I also think pointing out similarities in PUBLIC POSTINGS is 100% fair game. I for one feel very emotionally manipulated. If you want to play that kind of game, be prepared to get called out. I said i owned three horses 2 OTTB 1 TB/QH,but you seem to choose to miss that. I told what happened with the cushing horse not repeating it. And only own 2 horses now 1 OTTB and 1 TB/QH cross.
Lyme dease we live in a hot spot for lyme dease sorry i can’t keep my horses perfect with no issue. Yes 1 horse has had skin issue not like there aren’t any threads on that,my horse isn’t immune to it either. He rubbed himself bloody being itchy. No infection.
White line happens when it wet all the time and horses live in wet conditions.Horse had it cut out not a huge re section and it was done hoof grew out and he’s been fine since.
Choke happens no horse is immune to that either when pellets are fed. I said i had colics one colic surgery. I did say in one post pellets don’t cause colic,i never claimed to not have had a colic. If any post came off that way sorry wasn’t my intent.
Hindgut ulcers is what vet said,i treated for two week no change. So horse had scratches,diets probably lack vit A from what i read.
2 horses had laminitis no rotation so not founder,it was from feeding oat hay free choice. Yes the one died of gutteral pouch mycosis,he had been treated for gutteral pouch infections before this happened. Vet obviously missed a bigger issue.
I came here for help and now i’am being told i’am sassy45 and i’am not. I have poor spelling & poor punctuations lack of education on my part,only went to school up to 7 grade.
Just wanted help trying to do right by my horses,now i’am being shot down and drug through the mud.
I do see that the circumstantial evidence adds up in an alarming way, especially for those with an emotional bias.
The piece of the puzzle that does not fit is, Tazycat joined before Sassy45 was banned, and long before Firecat was created.
The mods are aware of this thread, and I take the fact that they have not banned the OP as confirmation that… as far as they can ascertain… Tazycat and Sassy45 are not the same poster.

My guess would be that ‘Paint’ is in reference to a TB/QH that has a pinto coloration, or a Registered Paint that is Appendix bred.

I have a paint that is foundation QH stock. I would never slip and call him a QH, even though by breeding he is. I certainly wouldn’t sometimes call him one thing and sometimes another?!

Really common in this area for people to call anything pinto a Paint and for people to call Paints QHs. A lot of people aren’t very particular.

He’s grade has white on belly and blaze faced. Was told he’s TB/QH from one person TB /paint from another. Does it really matter what he is??? He’s black and has white on him.
Paints are pretty much colored quarter horses. And plenty of QH have TB blood as do paints.

My mare was out of a registered Paint mare, but both her breeder and I would sometimes say Arabian/Paint and sometimes Arabian/QH. She didn’t have any pinto markings, she wasn’t being bred, and it wasn’t a big deal.
If you want to go cyber stalk me, you’ll find a posted a thread where a did one of those DNA genetics tests on her and was irritated that they called her out as QH instead of Paint. But that wasn’t because I really cared; that was because if a commercial test is going to pretend it can split hairs between the QH and Pinto breeds, despite all the acknowledged shared bloodlines, it ought to be accurate.
And, also, I’m human and can be imperfect and contrary sometimes. As can most humans. I’d worry a lot more if someone had their stories letter-perfect across time, because THAT is not normal.
I just find it odd in light of ALL THE OTHER oddities.

It could also be ‘the hallmark’ of someone who lives in the middle of nowhere, has less than adequate vet care available who needs help and moral support to take care of sick horses.
