Hello. No she did not. They told me beforehand her chip was so large she’d never be sound but if she didn’t have surgery, she’d become so arthritic in her shoulder she would have to be put down at a very early age so I did it. She was almost sound when she healed. She didn’t even really have a limp. She just couldn’t extend that shoulder quite as far as the other. I hope this helps you.
