Well, there is definitely someone standing on the other side of the horse (can see human jeans-covered legs on both sides of foreleg). ALMOST looks like someone’s hands coming from the other side of the tree - but it DOES look like the lead is tied, and I can’t determine whether the upper/right ‘hand’ is indeed a hand or a shadow or ??? in the sandpit. I don’t think it’s 'shopped, but everyone involved with this picture should go out shopping for a brain. Even one would help!

If I let it, it could really bother me that parents can say they know when their own children are “perfectly safe” in situations that are blatantly unsafe. Just because a parent is an “expert” in their own children doesn’t mean they’re an expert on horses or anything else.
Does anyone else notice that while the horse doesn’t appear to have THAT look in his eye, he also appears to have a humped back and hind legs ready to explode (because the saddle is so flipping far back)?
