Does anyone else think that Kevin Staut of France is so handsome? https://www.google.com/search?q=Kevin+Staut+images&espv=2&biw=837&bih=518&tbm=isch&imgil=BJ7cqYm9KYd5DM%253A%253B68ULN5cSjub4BM%253Bhttp%25253A%25252F%25252Fwww.esmtoday.org%25252Farticles_dozenQ_KevinStaut_122013.html&source=iu&pf=m&fir=BJ7cqYm9KYd5DM%253A%252C68ULN5cSjub4BM%252C_&usg=__6NiiRnFzODn1U73yW1EYUPtbOhc%3D&ved=0ahUKEwjxy_qXncbOAhUJzmMKHe3XAeIQyjcIOw&ei=Jy6zV7GcEImcjwPtr4eQDg#imgrc=mB4DZDS2jyQh6M%3A[/QUOTE]

Taken…by Penelope Leprevost!!

Azur has scope for daaaaays!

Azur is a freak in the very best of ways. Love her!

And how does McLain make jumping around a serious 1.6M course look like an eq round? Impressive and #goals

Oh dear what happened there… not good!

I was thinking the same thing.

I also love that they talked about Sapphine

Does anybody know what happened with Stephan de Freitas Barcha for Brazil? CBC results page shows he was disqualified? The COTH play-by-play just says he had 8 faults.

Any update on the first DQed rider Cassio Rivetti?

Love Gunder. By the same horse as Azur.

Did anyone see what happened with Stephan? I don’t want to message Brazilians while still ongoing but I do really want to know.

This Qatari horse (Gunder) is by the same stallion as Azur, and it’s interesting how similar they are, especially in the hind end!

Barcha had two refusals.

Missed Rivetti.

Oh I know and who cares - I just have a crush on him (besides I’m old enuf to be his - well you know …:lol:

Looks like the Qatar horse wore blinders on his bridle.

Someone fell off - that was the horse with the dangerously hanging bridle an hour or so ago

I’m going to guess Rivetti was DQ’d due to the blood rule or something. I had his score as 8 faults on my paper, but it was changed later. I don’t remember if he was one who had a pretty decent whip/spur through that first combo, but I didn’t see any blood.

That was Keach, I believe.

Having two refusals would show as “eliminated” not “disqualified” (ie. the Spanish rider had 2 refusals and shows as “EL”). And COTH reported that he finished with 8 faults, so I assume he wasn’t eliminated. It sounds like something happened after.

Pedro Cebulka is amazing - he is the go-to gate guy for every big competition now. I loved walking past the gate at Spruce Meadows as Pedro talked to the hitching ring…

"Michael on deck, Ludger in 2, Ian in 3, Rodrigo in 4… ooooh look - there is my good friend smooooofox - Beezie in five, Ludo coming out… "

We lived in the same valley in British Columbia for many years - he still does, I moved away… Great guy!

Hmm I don’t know, I don’t recall either rider having a rough round
