I did, and I thought it was sincere. It’s not easy to publicly admit when you screwed up. Goodness knows I’ve had my ring faux pas’s–I was lucky though because it wasn’t on a large stage and I only had my trainer’s wrath to contend with (although he definitely scared the bejezus out of me). Hopefully he and his horse find their trusting partnership again and have better success in the future.

We are heartbroken to announce that Cortes C sustained a tendon injury in yesterday’s competition and will be unable to compete for Team USA today. We are confident he will be able to make a full recovery.

While we had hoped to do everything we could to help the USA towards a medal today, Tiny’s best interests must come first. We are so thankful to our teammates, sponsors and most importantly, his owner, Abigail Wexner, for understanding that in this sport, sometimes winning means doing right by your best friend. We will be there today on the sidelines doing everything we can to support Kent, Lucy and McLain.

Looks like another tough course today and announcers saying already after one rider that time is likely going to be a factor again.

This is making me bonkers! I can pull it up on the app on the roku and on my laptop, but not on the TV via comcast - the live version, I want to see, without ads!!!

That was my thought too… If Nick has a time fault, it’s gonna be tough for anyone to make it inside.
