As much as I wanted Canada to win, Germany were the stronger team. Congratulations to them.

Who is jumping off for bronze, and has gold and silver already been decided? I am at work and incredibly busy, so just able to sneak an occasional peak, its so frustrating!
Germany just won the bronze in the jump-off, all three of their riders rode clear. France won gold, USA silver.

Definitely the deserving medalists, congratulations indeed.
I loved watching the French groom let the handsome gray horse just graze with his bridle on. Well-deserved!

Eric should get an award for ALL clear rounds!
let’s hope it continues in the individual competition!
Wow what a great day of jumping! So intense! I can’t wait to watch the individual finals
Will Beezie get a medal where she didn’t jump today? Or is she considered withdrawn from the competition?

Yes, I was noting what a wild-man that stallion was being, too!

She’ll get a medal because she’s part of the team regardless

Guessing yes, she helped get them qualified for the Final.

Friday is going to be AMAZING!! Happily, we finish at work at noon, so I’ll be able to focus my attention completely on the second round.
SWI is the only team with all 4 riders qualified for indiv final.
Sad for the one that isn’t chosen to ride especially since all 4 have 9 faults.

I remember back in Barcelona when they chiseled out on a medal for the fourth Dutch rider because he turned out to be the drop score in both rounds. Perhaps it is a blessing that Jur Vrieling does not run that risk today. It was cringe-worthy.
What horse did Beezie come in on for the medal ceremony?
she walked!
She didn’t, she’s on foot.
Beezie walked out, but was Lucy on a different horse?

Thanks, I wasn’t watching when they came in, but sort of thought there were 4 American horses milling about, but guess not!
I love looking at the German team on the podium. Three tall men and…MMB!
