there is even less of a chance that Delmar could host the cost country then Galway unless they resurrect the old Fairbanks from 1984

I agree Del Mar doesn’t have a x-country course however the idea to use nearby Evergate Stables land was considered at one point. It’s adjacent to Fairbanks Country Club golf course.

If we’re spitbaling here, one could use Del Mar Showpark and do crosscountry on the grounds and across the street at the (used to be) polo field. Wouldn’t be incredibly exicitng - not a whole lot of terrain - but…

Lots of area golf courses to tear up, um, have lovely cross country tracks on…
