Yup my trainer is taking me out on a trail ride on the a schooling horse tommorrow!! She says we have all winter to ride inside so lets do some trails before the weather gets too bad in the next few months. I cant wait!! The assistant trainer is going to take my horse out sometime to get her broke to trails. I’ll try to have mom take pics of when and after we leave and come back as I dont want to take any during our ride because I dont think my trainer would like it.
Have a wonderful time! The perspective of the great outdoors is totally different from the back of a horse. If you’re at all nervous just remember to breathe deep or possibly even hum or sing - both help you breathe and not tighten up in your saddle. This could be the beginning of a life-long enjoyment for you, no matter what your specific ambitions are. I hope you’ll let us know how it goes…
