On the Cookie bridle, yes, there is leather behind the crank pulley.
Yes! Sorry I did not get a good picture of it - there is a padded leather segment that the crank “pulley” straps get fed through. It can be seen here, to the left. FYI, that is not how you rebuild a crank! It’s been a long time since I completely took apart a bridle and crank noseband cavesson and it was embarrassing trying to remember to put it back together again :winkgrin:
Thanks so much for the measurements! Now I have to go measure the current bridle for my own horse to see if it’s comparably sized.
