Having volunteered time and effort to some of our local rescues, in my opinion the TB rescue system is the star. Anyone who disparages the race horse industry for its lack of compassion and commitment to equine welfare is uniformed. For every error in care, there are many more instances of a OTTB being reintroduced to a new discipline and healthy environs.
