I got some video of her today, she looks sound at the trot and in the back. The more I talked to the owner, the more I liked her.
She was bought cough sight unseen.

Congratulations on your new redhead. Iām glad she has a nice home. Canāt wait to see photos when she arrives.
Congrats! I canāt wait to see her now <3
Yes, weāre going to need current photos! And continuing updates, of course.
This reference jumped out at me because I think Iāve heard it beforeāmaybe in one of the Jeanine McMullen books that Iāve read a thousand times. I think she named one of her whippet pups this as well. Was Ginger Meggs a person I should have heard of? Asking as an ignorant American!
Ginger Meggs is an Australian cartoon strip about a redheaded troublemaker. Our version of Dennis the Menace.
Hopefully landing here Wed 17th!
We eagerly await pictures!
Here is a yearling-sales photo, she is a looker.
The previous owner has been sending me the most adorable videos of our new ginj ninj. Sheās put on heaps of condition since they acquired her, and is well thought of in terms of her attitude. I had my bodyworker take a look at some photos and she is super excited to do a bit of a ābefore and afterā with her.
I found a race video of her, she led wire-to-wire over 1200m and won easily. Iāll upload it once I can.
I have to eat my earlier words - it appears that there is a dorsal stripe (or at least a colour-gutter) visible when the mare is clipped / rugged. She is a much darker, richer red colour now and no stripe is visible.
Wow! What a beautiful firecracker she is!! Loved the video. So cool you have those memories.
The video of her racing is so cool!
Sheās arrived! Very quiet for a young TB. Interested, but not too bothered by much. Very sweet though. Smoochy. Has adorable fluffy ear tufts like a possum.
Covered in birdcatcher spots. Needs a heap of weight on, and has a bit of a capped hock. Wormed, and tomorrow will start on a course of omeprazole. Welcome to the family, uhā¦. No name.
Congratulations to you both! She has a sweet face and I agree the ear tufts are adorable. I look forward to watching your progress.
She may have already named herself⦠Smoochy?
What a pretty face. And such a rich color!
Completely different to her racing colour of light tan.
Iām leaning towards Aoife āEe-faā extra horseā. A bit of a shoutout to my Irish-heritage redheaded mum.
I shall steal this, much thanks.
Congrats on your new critter!!
Yes, now she looks more nutmeg vs. curry or cinnamon in color.
Glad she arrived safely and that she seems to be on the laidback side.
Hellā¦. When you order a plod off Wish, and you end up with a chestnut giant. Thatās my 16.1 OTTB sheās dwarfingā¦
We called her Aoifa after all. āE foā expensiveā
Love her! Such a glorious red she is! Will you keep her mane roached? Congrats Iām so happy for you and even more for her. Please keep updating as she blossoms.
