We have a gated driveway, it totally depends on the Driver and weather time of year.
We have during Xmass put an old wooden feed box at end of driveway just inside gate. Drive pulls up opens gate puts packages in box and leaves. The box is hidden from view by trunk of large tree and kinda heavy to steal.
I do not want my package dropped or chucked thru a fence. i have had a dog devour UPS packages left on an enclosed porch before 
Nitesh, I might check your link as I worked for the company that owns the patent for such lockers, they have already taken several knockoff companies to court
