PETA steals and euthanizes dog

This doesn’t add up

None of this makes sense. There is definitely more to the story.

Why did PETA come out to this one private home to pick up a single dog? This is a well-funded, well-known national organization looking to shine in the public spotlight. One dog isn’t worth their time and significant resources.

They won’t get shut down because they have millions and attorneys up the wazoo. They target those with less income and attorney access who cannot afford to come after them.
The family does seem like an easy target (though we know PETA doesn’t care who the answer is, as was the case with the hunting dog ).

Did a neighbor or someone lodge a cruelty complaint to PETA?

The video is taking forever to load but what I see is a woman leaving the porch holding something. She puts that something into the back of the cargo van. We do not see the van approach the property or how she got possession of the dog. It could be that someone handed Maya, the chihuahua, over.

Don’t forget the hundreds of lost pets they euth’d after Hurricane Katrina. Pets that were left at shelters or at their owners homes because the owners weren’t allowed to bring them when they were evacuated. Those animals had OWNERS who were going to come back to get them, and PETA/HSUS euthed them as “unadoptable.”

HSUS president is personal friend with the Obamas.
When those animal rights extremist groups have friends in high places, well, guess they may just feel protected and can take laws in their own hands.

With the millions they have, the HSUS just transferred 23 millions to the Caribbean, they sure are not hurting for money to buy any one out there to be bought.
Remember the circus lawsuit, where it came out they paid some $140,000 to the one person to lie to the court that circus employees were abusing their animals?

We can’t even imagine the kind of money those groups have to do what they want with, courtesy of the gullible public, that donates to them thinking it goes to save the sad kitten in their mailing envelopes.

Guess that we will never know what happened out there.

Even for the PETA haters, this story is ludicrous. Really? They backed up their clearly marked van, stole the dog and PTS it?

Another fable brought to you by Richard Berman’s front group, the Center for Consumer Freedom.
Some fables come documented.

This is local to me, and locals are outraged by this. No one knows why PETA targeted this particular dog or family. I’ve heard a rumor or two, but they’re just rumors, so I won’t repeat them. If the rumor(s) were true, there would still be absolutely no justification for someone to trespass and kill the dog. And then bring back a fruit basket as consolation??? Proof positive that PETA people are nuts.

The Huffington Post article lists the prosecutor’s phone number and email address. Please contact him if you find this outrageous!

I don’t think Wayne Pacelle is a friend of the Obamas. Where did you get that information?

It was in some news a while back, when the Obamas were getting a dog that was one of the news.
He and his wife were guest of the Obamas and the news story said they were good friends of Obama’s wife.
There were pictures with that story.
There was speculation at that time if they would get a rescue dog and that is maybe why they used that blurb about the HSUS president for part of the story.

It must be a top secret news source, because I am not finding any mention of these two even being in the same building together, let alone Pacelle being friends (good or otherwise) with any Obama.

Nor could I find a picture of Pacelle with either of the Obamas. Not even a fundraiser photo op. Considering what a publicity whore Pacelle is, I find it hard to believe that a photo exists and that it can’t be found on-line somewhere.

I could be wrong. Pacelle and Obama could be planning a same sex marriage right after he suspends elections and names himself King Of Everything (or Queen, depending). All I am saying is that I can’t find ANY mention of it. Maybe I just don’t know where to look. Or how to look. Or what to wear while looking.

It makes perfect sense. They didn’t know there was a security camera at that plain little house. They saw a dog, they took it. It’s what they do. The dog was fine. It was in its own yard on its own porch. PETA simply didn’t see any people and they made a quick grab, even backing the van up so that they could quickly load the dog and not be seen carrying to the van parked down the street.

They got busted because there was a camera.

In addition, they have the precedent in Virginia of getting away scot-free with whatever they do.

There was absolutely no “mistake” about killing the dog. PETA’s stated goal is no more domestic animals; they’ve stated that euthanization is desirable because it “ends their life of slavery.”

Apparently, the owner of the property (who is basically a slumlord of many substandard trailers in this very run-down trailer park) called PETA to come get a bunch of stray-ish dogs that hang out around this trailer park. So, unable to catch those dogs, these two PETA people go up on someone’s porch and snag a dog they could get ahold of. Unfortunately, this dog was someone’s pet.

Remember the Seattle area incident a few months ago? A Mal or Husky was taken out of the backyard of a house, with an invisible fence collar on, on the video you could hear the dog yelping in pain from the collar, by a whack job animal activist. She kept denying she did it, and it was very hard for the people to get the dog back from her. Her reason was a northern breed was outside, in chilly weather, and overweight.

Who calls Peta for stray dogs? Most people don’t even know PETA exists, unless they’re animals owners or fanatics.

That is what I was thinking, you call animal control if you have a loose dog problem.

If anyone was called, it makes more sense that PETA heard about animal control being called and decided to go do some “animal control” of their own.

We’ll, I take back the “fanatic”.
How about “the very certain”.
Fanatic is a harsh word.

No, fanatic fits.
Very certain would imply that they’re certain PETA’s statement of ending all domestic animals is a good thing.
Only a fanatic would read what they write, never attend any actual lobbying city meetings they attend to speak at or read any of their drafted attempts at legislation and still believe that PETA’s Facebook posts screened through their PR team and PETA’s protests and PETA’s staged videos…AND still believe what they want to believe despite not knowing much.

PETA and HSUS are for the willfully ignorant who desperately want to believe that these big-money folks will do what they think they want them to do…so they ignore all evidence to the contrary. Or they give the same platitude…“but they get things done! But they won’t REALLY do what they’ve said they believe in!”
