If they don’t want to pay me the $10 extra, then they don’t need to schedule the doggy daycare. He e-mailed me asking because they were going to need to let the doggy daycare place know by the end of this week if the dog would be attending during the month of April. I responded to him immediately, so they have had a week to mull it over and either schedule daycare and pay me extra, or don’t schedule daycare and keep my fee the same. It’s no skin off my nose either way. And not going to daycare saves them $50 a week for that as well.
If it was close or in town I wouldn’t charge, but 30 minutes each way is enough that I think it’s warranted. Does the dog daycare do pick-ups? That might be another option (e.g. then it’s the owner dealing directly with the daycare), although it may be too far for them, or a service they don’t happen to provide.

They don’t provide the service; however, if they did, I’m sure they would charge more than $10 because of the distance
