Plowing 325 foot Driveway

I have a 450 foot now asphalt driveway. It has only been paved 2 years. DH used a walk behind snowblower for gravel when he was younger. Moved up to a 48 inch snowblower on a John Deere lawn tractor. The JD struggled but got the job done. However, I have had multiple people compare my driveway to a rollercoaster. Steep down to a culvert, steep back up to house.
I now have a Kubota compact tractor with a 51 inch snowblower. It is the bomb. One pass down, one pass back even with really heavy wet snow. A few passes at the top parking area. All done.

My driveway is three quarters of a mile long with two turns. The best thing I ever did was get a snowblower for my Kubota 33hp tractor. I’m in Wisconsin, and plowing leaves snowbanks which in turn create drifts when the wind picks up. The blower leaves no banks for snow to drift across and over. I can do my driveway in under 30 minutes with the blower. No cab, I bundle up.

If any of these things don’t work or are too expensive, we have a snow plow blade on our ATV that handily does the job on our rather long driveway. It does take longer than I would like.

Seeing this reminded me that I’ve heard there are heated suits for motorcyclists that I imagine could be employed for snow plowing too!

Knowing the OP’s horsepower would be helpful. In Illinois I plowed my 270 ft driveway with my 27 hp gas tractor’s FEL. A plow would have been much easier I think. For heavy snows I had to keep up with it or call my neighbor with his skid steer to help. I can’t image plowing with a back blade. Around my house I would scrape snow backwards with the FEL to get it away from the house, then plow 90 degrees different to move the snow to a dumping area.
