Well I don’t have a happy update today. We were expecting to hear when Cody could come home, but he went a bit downhill over the weekend.
He has increased lung sounds and nasal discharge. Though still growing and eating.
The vet feels that we missed a bacteria, and we will do another trans tracheal lavage. It’s upsetting to say the least. And my pocketbook is suffering. We can only afford another week for him there, and then we will have to do what we can at home. Unless I can convince someone to by my yearling or weanling.
Such a hard decision, knowing when to say ‘stop’.
