OMG, you hear that in real life?! I thought that was just the livestream!
Pretty sure weāre all referring to the live stream, LOL!
facepalm
But we are unanimous that it needs to stop
Ya know, I thought I rode really well last weekend until I watched a few of these kids!
When 2ā6ā starts looking big to my adults I tell them to go watch video of 10-year-olds marching around at that height on medium ponies
Works for me too!
Uh, I might have jumped 2ā6" last weekendā¦BUT my horse is 17.1 so it doesnāt look so big anymore. Solved that part anyway
This article on the first couple of divisions includes videos of the winners.
What do we think the chances are that the live scores being posted donāt match the pony?
I sat down and saw the end of an adorable trip from a pony identified as Royal Legacy. The next pony, Fortnite, came in incredibly quickly and I never saw a score for Royal Legacy. Fortnite had a BIG chip. The score popped up for Fortnite putting it in first. Doesnāt seem possible, but does seem possible that maybe it was Royal Legacyās score instead. Itās the end of the smalls right now, so itās not like 3 have gone and the chip was the best of the bunch.
Fortniteās score had an extra digit mistyped which briefly put it in first. It was quickly corrected. All the scores were around 65, which seemed appropriate for the round, IMO.
Anyone know who the commentator is today for the Medal? I recognize her voice from the Maclay Finals I think. She does an excellent job!!
I believe itās Ava Stearns. Agreed that she does an excellent, positive job.
It is Ava. She introduced herself and now it is up on the screen that Bob Crandall has joined her. Adam Edgar commentated for a while too. I like the positive, constructive element they are bringing to this event. It is a long day at the end of a long week and to emphasize the journey of these kids and ponies over ribbons and scores is refreshing.

These small children on the small ponies in the medal are doing a fantastic job. There are so many full sized people that couldnāt ride this course half as well. I am very impressed
Was thinking the same. I am blown away by these kids.
Also loving the clinic that the commentary provides ā even for those of us who are too tall and too old for PF!
I hope this is available on-demand for USEF members, too, afterward because Iāve missed a lot.
Previously, I mistakenly assumed that if a show was airing through USEF Network, it all would be available on-demand to USEF members afterward. But apparently some on-demand access is restricted to CMH premium accounts because CMH has those rights? Cue another crotchety email exchange with CMH and USEF because I didnāt realize that was what the wee logos in the corners meant. sigh
I am able to watch replays with just a regular USEF membership. I donāt know if the Medal class is up yet though.
