That’s great news! Wish more vets would recommend referrals to specialists when they aren’t certain on diagnoses. A lot of stress to put you through! Glad your kitty is doing well!

I almost forgot. The vet did say something yesterday that might be really important. When she took the latest blood test to get her levels, she told us there was yellow plasma present. This made her believe that it was not blood parasites, not bone marrow/cancerous, but indeed her body attacking her own red blood cells.
She was giving us an antibiotic in case it was parasites. She was giving us prednisone in case it was her body attacking her own red blood cells. She said to carry on the antibiotic to the end, just in case but that she feels the prednisone is the answer.
