That’s us in a few months…moving north from Florida! Every.single.person. I tell about our move…the first thing out of their mouths is always…“you know it’s cold up there, right?”
I lived in Douglasville GA for nearly 2 yrs. and it got cold there too!

it honestly has not been that bad as long as you have the right gear. The dogs (born in Fl) are having a really hard time. They wear puffy vests and a wool sweater.
My female HATES the snow and we have had snow on the ground since christmas. She is over it.
When she gets in the car I feel bad we are not driving back to Tampa, because if she could talk, that is where she wants me to take us

That’s funny! Poor cold pups! Maybe they need a dog friend that can show them how to play in it.
I think our dogs will play in the snow, but our goats will be judging us severely. Goats are notorious for hating rain. When they see this new form of detested water, they will probably be wondering what new sort of he–ish landscape we have brought them to.
My old man dog is a 12 yr old boxer cross. And the female is a pretty, pretty, princess. I am going to have to wait to get a puppy to have dogs that enjoy the snow
