After a hard jump school/show/clinic I’ll poultice and turn out. If an overnight show I might poultice and wrap; same for if it’s not too hot and we have a long-ish trailer ride home. On less intense days I will slap on some Sore No More gelotion and turn out.

I’ve done icing/ wraps/ liniment/ PEMF at shows in the past (at home pony would just get turned out) but now I do nothing other than maybe wrap if I’m not able to get the horse out of the stall much at the show. I notice no difference and share much the same thoughts as JB. There is nothing that convinces me they need the additional stuff (so long as they are properly conditioned for, warmed up/ cooled down for the work they are doing it should be NBD) or that they notice a difference.

I will add that at shows I will always bed very deep to make sure they have plenty of cushion, especially on hard floored stalls. I try to get them out of the stall as much as possible. Ones that tend to stock up when stalled I may wrap hind legs, but for the most part I don’t do much different at shows.
