I have a Liability policy through Markel. It covers up to 10 horses that are owned by me. It covers obviously any problems at home, it covers my boarded horses injuring someone at the barn or damaging the barn, and it covers me at shows. If my horses kick someone at the show etc… My homeowners policy was not sufficient in my mind to just trust that. 10 horses for the year in California costs me $374.00
