I would add Donnerschlag.
I think he is mid 20’s and has had lots of great kids - the ones i know have all been lovely and nicely athletic .

Love Donnerschlag!
The first stallions that popped up in my head are Pablo, Coconut Grove, Landkoenig & Escudo II. Pablo is an "88 and Coconut Grove is an "87. Landkoenig & Escudo II are both 20 this year. All of these stallions have definitely proved they can produce!
I have to second whoever mentioned Pablo. I have a coming 3 y/o by him and I could not be happier with this guy. I’ve ridden several offspring out of this mare but my guy is the first by Pablo. He surpasses the others with much better conformation, a better attitude and just all around a nicer horse. Very sensible and easy to train. On his maybe 6 th time under saddle he was trail riding on 50 acres and trotting through the water jump. I co-own him with a 55 y/o ammy and feel very comfortable letting her ride him and handle him. He just hasn’t shown any of the typical silly young horse antics. He’s like an old soul and takes everything in stride. So far he’s been ridden less then 20 times and required no lunging, round pen, long lining, nothing to start. He just gets it. Maybe the universe is rewarding me for persevering with my last horse who was beyond difficult. I cannot even count the times I ended up with a pulled groin or needed to be adjusted from his spooking. Sad when your Dr knows your horses name. My hip sheer was know in the office as “The Duke”.
Ironman, he has had many nationally ranked horses plus national champion and reserves. He has horses in all disciplines, dressage, eventing, hunters, jumpers and hunter breeding winning and competing sucessfully.
The first 2 are Ironrule USEF Reserve Champion, the second 2 are a USEF National Champion yearling, the last is a event horse that was 3rd in the U.S.

Is Ideal still standing? I know he was a couple of years ago.
And what about Jupiter?

For eventing and Irish, Pallas Digion is the sire of the horse who has accumulated the second most lifetime points in eventing–Spring Along. He’s pretty aged (23) and is one who should be used as often as possible.
Needs the right mare, of course, but He’s done well with the Tudor Minstrel line.
What about Freedom Z?
Ideal is available by frozen semen. And yes, he is definitely a proven producer of fabulous and multi-talented horses. We bred two by him. One will be giving birth to her first foal in mid April to Romancero. Can’t wait to see this foal.
AH… Jupiter.
Do not forget Contucci. I think he is 19 this year…
Mezcalero 1987 or 25 years old.
Lagoheidor is 20. I’m not as familiar with him or his offspring personally, but really like his breeding and brothers. Someone has a post going on about him too.
(Both of these stallions have Furioso II back in their pedigrees in common–random sidenote)

AH… Jupiter. :)
Is he still breeding? His facebook page isn’t updated often and his website doesnot work anymore.
What about Sandstone Laurinn? He may not quite be proven as a sire, but he’s certainly performance proved.
