Purina Omega Match

Those statements don’t contradict one another. A two pound serving of Omega Match balancer will supply roughly the same amount of omega-3 fatty acids as horses will typically consume in four hours on fresh pasture. That amount of omega-3 fatty acids was, in the product’s developmental research, sufficient to cause the plasma fatty acid profile of the horses consuming the product to be statistically equivalent to horses on 24/7 pasture, unlike horses on the control diet.

Ah, I see the difference now. But, my big question is still about a disconnect - why do they say “similar to 4 hours of pasture” (which is indeed true), but then study horses on 24x7 pasture?

Either way, the amount of O3 in 2lb is what it is, which IS similar to 1c of flax, and depending in the DM content of the grass, as much as or more than 4 hours.

Any more reviews from people actually using Omega Match ration balancer?
