Purses for leather snobs?

I admit, I did not scroll through this thread to ch ck if I’d already posted
But, through a link from another thread I sent DH’s old close contact saddle to be made into a purse by this lady:

I rarely carry a purse, so I chose one of her small designs & wallet.
Purse includes reins & browband from my TB’s bridle & his favorite bit, wallet has DH’s saddle nameplate.
Finished purse & wallet were around $300, IIRC.
It cost around $100 to ship her the saddle & 2 bridles w/instructions to use any surplus leather for other customers.
I could not be happier with the result
