Have owned a Bee, Featherlite, Exiss, and Merhow. All were/are good trailers for their price point. The current trailer is a 2012 Merhow 3horse slant goose, with longer and wider stalls for big horses, but which my big 17hd draft crosses have nonetheless outgrown. So I am trading the Merhow in on a 4Star this weekend. Not cheap and I’m getting it with WERM flooring as I’m sick of wrestling mats out of trailers. That’s one dirty, nasty, back-injury-waiting-to-happen, job. I looked at Eby’s at Rolex this year and was really impressed.
I have a 2006 equispirit and I am obsessed with it. It’s attractive and functional
Hawk. They’re also made with a steel frame/aluminum skin and a fiberglass roof and I LOVE their “rumber” floor - (the wooden boards are encased in rubber. You don’t need mats) I got mine in 2006 - so it’s 11 years old and I’m nowhere near needing a new one but if I did, I’d get another Hawk. Hawk used to make Equispirit - they were the same trailer. I was told by the manager of Hawk that Equispirit wanted to cheap out on a few things, Hawk said “no” and they parted company.
I love my Kingston, but it is even older than yours LOL!
Just picked up my 4star 2+1 today and the quality is incredible. My Merhow was nice, but the 4Star is definitely superior.
