You don’t absolutely have to have the stabilizer bar, but it makes life easier! If all of your equipment has the same width for hookup then you can set the width of your links to one setting and you’re in business. But if the you have differences using the stabilizer bar will cut the number of times you have to mount or dismount the tractor during hookup. That make life more pleasant!!!

Woo Hoo my Pats 3 point system arrived last night. It took 3 days from order to delivery. I will try to figure it out this weekend. I am excited!!! I would have never known about it but for this forum. Thanks!
Congrats. Don’t forget to put the “washers” that come with the Pat’s system on the ends of the implement bars. They keep the implement from slipping off if the 3pt arms inadvertently spread wider.

I hate hooking up my bush hog. I always say that these things should be designed by women. Then they would be as was as starting a dishwasher!
