Random Question: Why are spur patch squares ok in the equitation?

Nope, no rubs with non-fleece. The fleece bells he was wearing at the time were is normal size medium, but they seemed to fit around his pasterns a little tighter. He currently wears the Arma bell boots for turnout and riding with no problem.

I had a TB that was sensitive too. Couldn’t even put neoprene boots on his legs… somehow he’d get rubs. We tried them looser, we tried them tighter… didn’t matter. He may have just had an allergy. Undecided. These were the days of leather girths, so wasn’t like we gave it a whirl with a synthetic girth.
BUT, I will say that if the Arma bells ever become a problem, I would buy the super gummy pull-ons. Never had an issue. Usually buy them one size bigger so they were a bit looser, but worked great. He lived in them for awhile since he was a habitual shoe-puller when he didn’t want to go outside.

Could it be because the fleece on bell boots collects dirt and sand?
