another thumbs up here for the Orange cap stuff from Walmart! The main thing to remember is that you need to really soak the entire sheet with the stuff, don’t just wave the spray over it. Make methodical sweeping passes and make sure that the material gets wet from the spray.

Why don’t you buy a decent quality weatherproof rug? I have had Shires 2000dn 300gm lined for 6 years. They are still waterproof, but the padding is wearing thin, lol.
You can’t make a light weight rug decently rainproof IMO. (And I’ve tried )

THANK YOU!!! So, I drenched my blanket and sheet with the stuff from Walmart. I used two cans each, just in case! We shall see how it goes.

Hi Wendybird, I did buy a nice quality weatherproof sheet. I’m not happy that the water resistance “stuff” has already come off after a few years, but I guess that is just how it goes sometimes (especially since I like to keep them decently clean after being covered with muddy horse rolls etc. :o)
