Redmond Daily Gold Stress Relief

IDK, the horses in my care are calm and well behaved. The race horses win, the show horses win. They look good. Any suspicion of ulcers and the vet gets involved. I would question the management of the barn with all the problems, not the winning barn with happy healthy horses.

@halt - And you are getting yourself all upset of things that you imagine. Please go back and quote me on things you erroneously attribute to me:

“I’m starting to think you’ve never touched a horse if you argue that an ulcery horse can’t possibly be sore anywhere but the stomach.”

“You continue doing you, but I also remember you’re the person that thinks a flipper is the same as a rearer (among other things), so I should probably just quit while I’m ahead.”

You probably should quit, since apparently it’s some kind of competition. Who is keeping score? Does the winner get a prize?

Following up… My personal experience having horses for 40+ years, I’ve never had a horse nip at his chest so violently when I touched it and when I treated the ulcers, it went away and so did the girthy-ness and teeth grinding. I’ve never done any competition, always pleasure trail so I know the competing world is different. Also, as a human who suffered ulcers for years until they figured out it was H. pylori infection and then I was successfully treated – There were many times where my chest/stomach could barely tolerate water from the shower hitting me - forget EVER wearing a bra - I was “girthy”!!! …so I know uclers can affect tactile senses. I am happy to have a happy horse that I can brush without it being painful or irritating. He does not nip at his chest - zero nipping and zero tail swishing and zero teeth grinding when I brush his belly! I swear by the Renew gold and Redmonds Daily Stress. Thanks for everyone’s posts and for sharing your experiences!

I tried Daily GOld and IMO it did nothing for my guy. Now just ending a course of Nexium…
