Looking for recommendations for rehab facilities in the SE that would be appropriate for rehabbing a hind suspensory. I am familiar with the Jaeckle Center’s program in TN, but am wondering if there are other options to consider as well. Thanks!!
There are quite a few places in the Southeast that do rehab. What area are you trying to stay in?
Florida (no further south than Ocala), Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina all would be ok. Not interested in going as far as Kentucky.
What stage of injury is your horse in/what stage of rehab do you need?
He is finishing up stall rest and has been cleared to start u/s or treadmill rehab because he doesn’t tolerate hand-walking. He will have to stay on stall rest during at least part of the rehab.
As another poster mentioned, Still Creek Farm (Tryon, NC) is excellent. Very professional facility, aquatread, indoor, next door to Tryon Equine clinic.
Still Creek and Hassinger Equine Rehab are both excellent facilities in NC
