Renaissance Saddles

Sorry, I am not sure. I think you would have to speak with a Renaissance rep. My guy is an average warmblood, so I don’t think he was a particularly challenging fit.

I’m not a rep, but I they are wool flocked and can be adjusted accordingly. It could also be that your tree is too wide, and so the panelling is too wide accordingly. L’apogees tend to run wider than not.

So if for example you were to get a 32cm tree with a little lift in the flocking where he needs it, it would probably work! That said, I still use a ProLite pad with my boy just because he likes to feel a little space between me and his back, but you might be able to pull out the shims as I have.

Thanks, that’s good feedback. Whenever I’m ready to start saddle shopping again (the worst haha) I’ll reach out to a rep, was just curious if others had experience fitting the to more TB-type backs. The panels look very slim in the models I’ve seen.

Weirdly the tree isn’t too wide on my L’Apogee…my guy has big shoulders and measures a general medium-wide (measured by an independent fitter). He’s just “tall” through the withers (and curvy front to back), if that makes sense.

Sounds a plan, good luck! My guy is a TB FWIW, he measured between a 32 and a 33 and we went with 33.
