To help him with diarrhea/cow patties (which mostly are gone) I fed ABC’s MOP which is a clay type thing to absorb. Also was giving ABC Probi for gas. They both helped but got to where he would not eat the MOP.
There is no discussion of probiotics here. That’s strange to me as a holistic coach. So your horse got a “flox” drug. That is very strong and clearly necessary; these drugs have been known to destroy tendons in humans however. As a holistic coach I ask HOW? … that is always my question. HOW did your horse get this infection? Stress. Vaccines. Sure, maybe but also my theory: The feed. Glyphosates specifically that are used to process it. Fecal transfaunation is arguably as or more effective than probiotics.
