My winter project has been refinishing a jog cart. The leather that was on the shafts by the tips as well as the holdback loops and the leather on the singletree.
Any suggestions for a place with replacements?

I was advised to source upholstery grade leather but I don’t think that is thick enough. But I haven’t really started on this project yet so I’m interested to see what other people advise.
Upholstery leather isn’t heavy enough for the shaft wrap, need light bridle leather for that as well as for the tug hangers. You would have to check with places that sell whole and part hides as well as cut straps. A set of worn reins can be cut to size for the tug hangers but you will have to order shaft wrap leather in a fairly large piece
