I put this on the other thread, but I suggest everyone email their issues, concerns and stories to each and every member of the USEF Sporthorse Committee and ask them to rescind this right away. Here are all of the ones with emails:

No kidding! The one for TBs is $145 per year which is RIDICULOUS. I did it one year back in 2013 (it wasn’t that expensive then) and even though my horse showed up as a winner on the website, never got a thing in the mail, so that was the last year I did All Breeds, which is sad. I would love to do it but holy crap, I can’t afford a $145 membership on top of the ones I already pay!
I think that is membership to the registry? USDF bills the registries directly for All Breeds. Some registries charge member dues, others don’t - most are in the $50 to $100 range each year (some are more, some are less). But then we (the owners/riders) have to have both registry membership (again, that cost varies by registry) AND USDF Participating Membership for the All Breeds program. So, one of the few programs that is actually relevant to a grass roots rider without a fancy Warmblood, is, again, super expensive to participate in. Isn’t it enough that USDF gets show recognition fees when we show, gets paid by the registries for the awards, and gets our GMO dues? Why do they have to hit us AGAIN for PM dues?
And for some registries, the cost of the USDF All Breeds Program is one of their biggest annual costs.
Well, the Jockey Club TIP program is free so I will continue to do that… but The North American Thoroughbred Society’s website says in order to do All Breeds, you have to join for $145. It is AWFUL. I totally agree with everything you said about the super expensive memberships we have to pay!
