I back up vxf111’s statements. Withholding water, tying heads up and bloodletting have all been used…but mostly in the breed circuits.

Someone else posted that if the horse has a thick tail, it will sell for a higher price…which prompted the OP’s comment. I disagree with that statement, BTW. Yes, a nice tail is a bonus, but fake tails are pretty easy these days, so a bad tail or even just a normal tail isn’t an issue.
