The breeders are probably “teeny tiny” because they know their limits and prefer to give excellent care and upbringing to thier horses. Just my opinion, which I think I am legally entitled to.
Not to mention, I noticed there was another filly in my class by Redwine who was also listed as being out of an unknown dam. Does she just squirt semen up in the air in hopes it lands somewhere nice or is that one “stolen” too?
This post only makes sense if the horse in question is owned and shown by JB.
Otherwise taake up the issue of missing pedigree with the owner of the horse. I’ m sure you understand that the owner supplies the pedigree information to USEF and the show.
Or maybe you don’t know that??
It was supposed to be a joke but with all the BS that has gone on I wouldn’t be surprised if somebody got screwed along the way.

Oy vei! This thread finally died down and Gen. goes and starts it up again. I have no dog in this fight, but have seen Jill herself do more than her share of internet bashing against other Breeders, Stallion Owners and stallions over the years. So I guess it’s safe to say everybody is bashing…but at least the rest are paying their bills while doing so!
While I commend you for standing by your friend, getting this thread going again probably wasn’t the best idea from a PR standpoint!
I don’t think there is anyone who can convince me that Roy Parker IS NOT Jill. The only time they post is to defend her honor and also speak highly of her program (notice who brought up her filly by Aloha winning BYH in the other thread). Redwine is a lovely stallion…all of her stallions are lovely. But no one can deny that her business practices make most sane people want to run in the opposite direction of her. Let the thread die “Roy”…you’re not doing JB any good by bringing this up again.
Doug Spink owned Capone. Capone is a great horse…doesn’t change anyone’s opinion of Spink’s behaviour. Or maybe we are all just jealous of him

Best comment of the whole thread.

<smile>…I for one am quite pleased that “Roy” keeps resurrecting this thread! It see it as a public service for those newbies or breeders who may not be aware of JB’s behaviors. So, please!!! Keep on posting, Roy!
I believe no man would write this statement:
“…and just flat out giving women a bad name”
A woman, however, in a professional capacity, would certainly be likely to write it.
One vote here for “Roy” being Jill. Question – why wouldn’t you just post as yourself if you are so convinced you have done nothing wrong?
Hiding behind an alter and boosting oneself is so craven it’s hardly to be believed, but it’s all of a piece with the rest of the behavior <smile> !
So I guess Devon doesn’t count ey Mardi? I know you will never eat your words, but clearly results don’t lie.
So keep going knowing that what you are doing is failing, and having the opposite effect for most people. and just flat out giving women a bad name.
Of course Devon counts. It’s quite an accomplishment to win BYH. The filly that won the the Best Young Horse looks very nice in the photo. You’re correct, show results don’t lie; that goes for the winners as well as those who are 4th out of 5.
For example, let’s take a look at the show results for First Kiss, bred by GFF.The link will take you directly to show results for this horse.
http://www.usef.org/_IFrames/pointsAwards/points/leadinghorseresults.aspx?year=2012&oid=5116031&oetype=O&hid=5178339§ion=1900&bdate=12/1/11&fdate=11/30/12&badpoints=npb
Click on each show to see how First Kiss placed.
You will see that although First Kiss placed 1st in a few classes this year, there was only one show (Atlanta Winter Classic) that had more than one horse in the class that First Kiss won. At other shows, the placings for First Kiss were 2nd out of 2, 3rd out of 4, 4th out 4, etc. Of course all these placings are calculated for Hunter Breeding Breeder points. Which goes back to the discussion on how points are earned.
Your comment that I am “flat out giving women a bad name” is fascinating.
Could you please tell me exactly when/where/how I did that ?
And what “bad name” am I giving them ? And which women are they ?
Thanks.
YES, i was FINALLY PAID FOR MY FILLY, but i still don’t approve of JB or GFF.
i would have been THRILLED had Laurie and Juliet won BYH or 1st at devon. I am still thrilled she was second, she is a lovely filly and Laurie so deserved a top placing. The stallions are nice, they have and are continuing to produce lovely offspring. There has been a thread about this before, and i just hope that regardless of GFF standing the studs that the foals that are already on the ground are not hurt in the process or foals that are currently in-utero/have already been arranged to be born in the years 2012/2013. The foals are innocent as are other outside breeders who are not in allegiance with JB & GFF.
I am DISAPPOINTED that Brandon Gibson, owner of Arbor Day, won. He is and remains friends with Jill to this day. They have been doing business for at least a year now at this point. In my eyes, Brandon Gibson is on my caution list simply due to his allegiance with Jill Burnell and support of her criminal activities. The horse is lovely, no doubt about it, i just wish she had a different owner. Brandon has been known to be involved in bad dealings with JB and GFF. Someone on this very board dealt with this with him when she purchased a GFF foal.
Yes, Arbor Day is nice. Yes, Juliet is nice. Yes, there are very successful offspring by the GFF studs. It just comes down to the decision of whether or not it is worth breeding to any of them due to complications and criminal activity that tends to arise when JB is involved.
I just sincerely hope that this does not affect other breeders who are expecting 2012/2013 offspring by any of the GFF studs. I have a personal friend who is using GFF studs and expects foals in 2013. I know she is NOT involved with JB and that she is an honest and sincere person/breeder. I know she has been hurt in some fashion by JB in the sense that she has no other choice but to have bred to the GFF studs for 2013 foals due to a trade that was previously done and money that JB owed her. I know that she herself struggled with the idea of having to used the GFF studs, but when it came down to it, not using them would have hurt her and her business financially. She was owed and has every right to receive for JB. I hope that for her sake and other breeders out there who are honest and do this for the love of the horse that they are not hurt in the process. I look forward to seeing her lovely foals in 2013. I know they will be beautiful and I am happy that she will have them.
OK, mods. You’ve confirmed IP addresses in the past. Does RoyParker and grayfox have the same IP?..although, I suppose one could be posting from a computer and another from a cell phone
Very few people would post the quote above…as they clearly just do not get it. It’s my thinking that Jill is in the mess she’s in because she did not possess the willpower to keep her operation at a manageable level. So while the majority of breeders do indeed have “teeny tiny” operations, they are able to pay their bills and keep a rapore with the community because they keep their operations small.
Jealous, really? …that buyers and mare owner after mare owner feels the need to come on here with a complain about her? That apparently people have filed with the courts to get their money out of her? That apparently John French never got paid, the vet, the farrier, the shipper, the Registries?..and the poor stallion’s reputation is what ultimately suffers for it? Jealous…no, not so much! Just sad.

Get a dial up account for a few bucks a month and each and every time you dial up your IP address will change. So - RP and JB and 10 other people on this thread could all be JB under different alters and all it would take it to post under one name, sign off, sign on again 30 seconds later - the IP address would change, post again, sign off, sign on again and there is NO way the mods could definitively pinpoint it
Its only the HONEST people on static IP addresses that would get caught - that dont bother to go to dial up accounts or bouncing email addys.

So who is Brandon Gibson and what is the big deal about him? Is he “somebody”?

Ok, this cracked me up!!
It’s sad the drama continues. Jill is now trying to sue a mare owner who canceled a sale to her for 20 times more than the sale price of the mare… Good luck with that! I’m sure the judge will have a field day with that in court with the pending warrants…maybe John French shouldo go that day too and collect his money.
Did she get her latest lawyer out of a cracker jacks box? I am sure it can’t be easy to get a good lawyer when your previous lawyer has an outstanding judgement against you but even a first year law student could tell her she needs to stay away from courts whenever possible!

You can consult with attorney’s beforehand here in CA but can’t bring one to small claims. You have to represent yourself…unless you countersue, which the mare owner should do at this point for harassment and fraud. I know the mare owner has an attorney so thats a huge step in the right direction.

If she is sueing for 20x the mare’s value, I doubt it is under 10,000 the maxium allowed in small claims.
I don’t understand how you can run around sueing people, when you have so many open judgements.
Jill didn’t even pay her FEED STORE for christ sakes…
Roy Parker: What are your feelings about the arrest warrants for Jill Burnell?
