Thanks everyone for your contributions! It’s nice to hear how everyone balances their cardio/strength. I’m a cardio queen, but I know there’s much more to fitness than that, so I’ve been watching everyone lift while I run.
just google “iron neck”. If you have an injury or condition you should 100% definitely ask your doc and PT before using it. But I’ve found it to be really helpful and much safer than any regular neck strengthening exercises imho.

LOL not at all what I was expecting
I’ve recently (over the past year), lost a bit over 30lbs. Went from 163 down to 129 by cleaning my diet up.
I know this isn’t anything in particular regarding strength exercises, so maybe not what you’re looking for, but it has been a total game changer in my riding.
A few months ago I moved my hand weights (16lbs total between the two), from downstairs to upstairs. It was tough! And then I realized I was carrying around double that all the time. Of course I was winded when riding!
By removing the excess weight, my endurance has skyrocketed, and has 100% bettered my riding.
I know, it’s hilarious. My SO looked so stupid using it that I HAD to try it hahaha. We were very bored during Covid!
