Looking for a horse to hack/exercise/train as I only ride my 3 yo once a week currently and he’s my only horse at the moment. I’m looking for more time in the saddle to tune up my riding.
I’m an eventer (shown novice, schooled training) and happy doing flatwork or dressage and 5’6" so anything over 15 hands!
I’m a patient and quiet rider and am happy to discuss suitability.

Horseless rider in SE/Eastern CT. Intermediate adult rider, have been riding for 15+ years in the disciplines of foxhunting and eventing. Quiet rider that is looking for a low key , predictable horse to hack out or ride in the ring. A horse that can go out in a field, trails, grass hunt course, or somewhere besides just the ring would be ideal. If you have a horse that needs fitness built up, I have a lot of experience getting horses fit for hunting and hunter paces.

Hi everyone! I have a large pony who needs a half-lease. He requires a soft-handed, soft-seated kind rider and someone who will enjoy his adorable, goofy personality. He can jump 2’-2’6" and is well trained for an experienced teen rider, or a petite adult under 140 lbs. He is also a fabulous lesson pony and takes loving care of his charge. He is not fancy enough to be a show pony and lease must be on-site near Old Town, Alexandria or Washington DC.

Seeking 2’6 or 3’ H/J horse for third- or half-lease. I’m an adult re-rider who resumed occasional lessons and catch riding a couple of years ago. Previously showed up to 3’ H & J at “A” shows, knowledgeable in show horse care.
Ideal situation would consist of two to three rides per week, including up to one lesson per week, with option for occasional local/regional showing.

Riderless horse in the Siler City/Pittsboro area of NC. He is 6 years old, ~ 15 hh, unknown breeding. I think he can move nicely if ridden regularly, which he is not. Professionally started but needs consistent rides. Going sort of western right now but (as an English rider, I say), he has nicely tight knees - I’ve seen him first hand tuck them nicely and jump repeatedly over something he could have walked over. There is a resident western trainer (who started him) and a regular dressage/H/J trainer who comes (she has ridden him and really likes him), you’d have access to both depending on your wants/needs. Arena with lights. Trails. Owner (had him since yearling) is pretty great (other horse keeps her occupied) and is interested in someone interested in providing a regular, fair ride for this horse. Discipline not important, but the guy can likely excel in many because he’s athletic and likes to come out and be worked.

(Sort of) Riderless horse NW of Boston - 18-year-old Appendix paint gelding looking for someone to come and spend time with him a few days a week as I prepare for grad school in the fall. I’d love to find someone who I can help get to know him this summer and then “take over” his ride time in the fall when I start school. He is a sweet, quiet, and sensible guy who is an an uncomplicated fairly straightforward ride who can take lots of jokes. He’s not spooky, great on the trails, and is pretty athletic. In another life we schooled/showed in jumpers, but due to a ligament injury in 2016 this is now limited. I’d like at least an intermediate rider for him although he is quiet enough for a beginner. His flatwork is solid but rusty - he can do basic lateral work but will require some practice to be consistent. Otherwise he is balanced and comfortable at all three gaits, and is very adjustable. More of a kick ride in general, but will move out on the trails and will easily come back to you. He loves to hunter pace!
All tack/equipment provided, most of it is high end and he has more gear than I like to admit. He is on a small private farm, access to tons of trails, a half mile sand track, and within hacking distance of a neighboring farm with a lesson program. I am looking for a dressage/ eventing/ jumper mount in Michigan. I am in Kalamazoo and I am willing to drive an hour away. I am 30, 5’4" 115 lbs and have been riding for 25 years, mostly eventing and dressage. I did pony club up to C-3. I did a year as a working student for Sara Kozumplik and Eric Dierks. I don’t have kids and I work freelance so I have the freedom to ride whenever. I have been caring for my old warmblood mare for the last few years but I just had to put her down. I don’t want to buy a new horse yet, putting one down makes you realize just how hard owing them can be. But I have the time, skill and motivation to continue riding and I hope someone our there needs help excersizing their mounts! I have soft hands, a good seat and I have been told I am an extremely thorough groomer.

I’m a new graduate student to the Blacksburg/Christianburg area and am looking for a horse to ride. I’ve primarily ridden English (low levels H/J and lower levels dressage) but have a lot of western experience as well! Not looking for anything fancy at all and am willing to pay a lease fee if needed. Would love to take lessons with your recommended trainer. Would love to just hack around or trail ride but also really enjoy arena work. I previously owned my own horse but unfortunately had to put her down right before the move. Riderless horse - Tallahassee, FL (East side of Leon Co)
7 yo OTTB gelding, easy and kind, 16.2. He is still quite green, and can get a little anxious, but is easy for a quiet confident rider who won’t get in his mouth too much. I just don’t have time right now, with 2 small kids and FT job, and a quirky mare to keep in work! Romeo has done some jumping, including XC, and had green lead changes before getting a break due to family health issues. Not spooky, not hot, easy to hack on the buckle. I don’t have an enclosed arena at home, just a grass riding area, and have always felt safe on him. Has a lovely comfortable canter, soft mouth, anxious to please. I’ve even ponied my kids’ small pony from him on multiple occasions!
If my schedule permits, I may be able to provide transport to nearby trainers for lessons and schooling, as well as to greenways for trail rides. If he gets fit enough and there’s interest, possibly even to hound exercise/hunting. PM if interested.

Hi there!
I live in Maryland (Towson, specifically) and I’m currently searching for a free (or very low cost) lease on a horse. I’m looking to purchase or “upgrade”, if necessary, in the spring.
I owned a thoroughbred filly and trained her up through dressage, foxhunting, eventing, show jumping, etc. I have many years’ experience but my lack of riding over the last several years has left me looking and feeling like Jell-O in the saddle! My brain knows what to do - I just need to work all the muscle back up!
I’d primarily be using ride time to get back in form - lots of flatwork without stirrups, that type of thing. I’m only really available on weekends right now. I am willing to travel (within reason)!
