Looking for a ride from Lenox, MA to Plainfield, MA on August 1st
This is a long shot, but I’m looking for a ride for my 17-year-old TB mare on August 1st. I’m moving her from a boarding barn in Lenox, MA to a home that I have just purchased in Plainfield, MA - about an hour’s drive.
My mare is a good loader, an excellent traveler, and is up to date on all shots and has a current Coggins. I’ll be at both barns to load and then unload.
Does anyone know of someone who might offer trailering for this trip? Doesn’t necessary need to be a ride share; I’m happy to pay someone to haul her if they’re fairly local, or passing through the area.
Mare is 16 hands; step up and ramp loads are both fine.
Have room from MT to NC
I am going to visit family in Eastern MT around the first of August. I will be returning to NC in second week of August. I am planning to take a 4 horse slant load trailer or possibly a 16 ft. stock trailer. I don’t have room for horses heading to MT but will have room for smaller items. I am pretty much empty heading back to NC. If you have a horse or other items that need to come east let me know. My slant load trailer is 7.5 feet tall. I will be driving a F-450 truck. I am planning on driving I-90 east, I-29 south to Kansas City area, I-70 East to St Louis, I-64 to WV, I-77 South. I live near Winston-Salem, NC. I can adjust the route some if needed. There are several different ways to go and they most of them are pretty close in time and distance. Let me know if I can help.
