Riding in the Black Forest

We have just started to explore this area, as it is over an hour North of me. This ride was our second visit, third will be tomorrow  It is unfortunate that the camera got accidentally turned to black and white along the canyon, making it look like the depths of winter. Trust me tho, it is a beautiful area.

Link doesn’t work

Thanks PRS, it worked for me the first time, but now it doesn’t, so I corrected it to go directly to the slideshow.

It still doesn’t work.

thanks SonnysMom, I corrected it yet again, I had it on ‘Ask Friends to Log In’ and didn’t realize it. I hope it works now, it does for me.

I still had to log in but I apparently have a Snapfish account.
It looks like a beautiful place to ride. I liked some of the black and white photos.
Darn I wish I was closer to you.

I wish you were closer too SonnysMom. I was just talking to my riding buddies the other day, saying I had to make sure we were on your riding destination list for next year, we have added to our riding options greatly.

There is a great place to camp, the Dyer CCC camp. 8 spots, with a loop road. Very quiet, and pretty. I think I’ll camp there some myself next year. It is 54 miles from here to the first parking area, 58 miles to the CCC camp, so that gives you and idea how far it would be for you.

You could bring DH and the dogs, there is tons of hiking there, and I believe some good fishing too, tho I’d have to check on that.

That sounds great. I have a friend with a big RV that is set up to tow a trailer. They race cars so have an enclosed trailer that fits the car and a golf cart. I might be able to borrow the RV to tow my horse trailer. I think it sleeps 6. It is beautiful.

Sounds great SM. Now we would just have to all coordinate our schedules in order to ride the same time!

Remind me in the Spring, and we will go from there
