Rode my friends Reining Horse!

Talk about totally cool! Her horse is incredible! Hate the saddle thing, but at least I had something to hang onto! I needed it, slide stop! I got to do a couple of little spins, hanging on for dear life, I was dizzy after! This mare is awesome, she does it all! Her lead changes were sooo smooth I had to look down to make sure she actually had changed! I gotta get me one these puppies! It was definately an education, Western Dressage at it’s best. If you ever get a chance to ride one of these guys grap it! I can’t wait to ride her again! Thank god for that big ole’ saddle horn, saved my sorry butt more than once! Too much fun!

Lions and Tigers and Bears, oh my!!

Reinera are amazing to watch especially the good ones:) We were at a schooling horse show and they had a huge reining show going on…their circles amazed me-in the middle of a ring and perfect, their changes were awesome…the winner of the futurity lived near us…so afterward my mom asked him if he would give lessons to an englsih rider on how to do perfect circles! He laughed and would have but he only takes horses in training…

as far as smooth changes-a lot of it has to do with the qh build(not saying other breeds can’t do it), to change like that is more natural for them…i have a three yr old qh and every change she does is like that(she learned them by herself)…i have to look down half the time to see if she changed because you can’t feel them, in fact on the ground you can barely see them…maybe this is the natural way for all horses, just as riders we change it

I never WOULD lend my tiara. That trolloppe Velvet TOOK it unbeknownst to me. Dreadful creature.

And, it has nothing to do with dressage, deep or not. Everybody just take a step or two back and calm down. No need to create our own little war right here.

ain’t it the truth ???
