Rolex Live Stream/Results/Comments thread

Man, I finally got the feed working great… just in time for ring maintenance. Gotta hand it to the KHP grounds crew, they do a fantastic job.

Watching Muggle warm up now!

Angela’s trot across the diagonal was gorgeous. I’m so proud of them.

My live feed is out. So I am keeping up just by looking at the scoreboard: http://startbox-real-time-scoring.s3-website-us-east-1.amazonaws.com/leaderBoard.html#

which is not that bad for dressage but is totally NOT what I want for Saturday!

Anyone have luck with FEI TV? I would pay the subscription price if I were guaranteed the feed is good. $8.99 per month…
It says that livestream is not available in North America. I was unable to do the $8.99 option and it only gave me the yearly $79 or monthly $14.99 option. I registered an account but when I saw that live stream isn’t available to North America for Rolex I decided not to pay and still not be able to watch!

Unfortunately I’m at work, so can’t live stream the event (might sneak it in during lunch time) So I just have the live result scoring that I’m refreshing every few minutes.

Looks like the clouds are starting to move in. Hope the rain holds off.

Go Courtney!! So glad she had such a good test on her homebred.

Has Courtney Cooper’s horse just gone lame?

Live stream is totally out for me again. Haven’t seen a horse go since Parker.

Thought the same thing, but trotted out fine… just a very big long bobble LOL

WAS did, in one of the enthusiastically early lead changes, do some serious misfiring with those legs. Wonder if it hurt for a bit… seemed fine after.

The live stream has been consistent for me since the return from the first break.

The synch is off and significantly noticeable, but for today, anyway, I don’t find that to be a big deal. I am watching Rolex KY dressage and that’s what counts!

I want to know why it keeps freezing but then redirecting me to some other stream, like “In the Barn With Mighty Nice”… I didn’t click it, I don’t want it!
I don’t know why that happens, but I believe you have to go back to the “Broadcast Schedule” link, then the tab “On Demand” to re-load the live stream.

That was happening to me for awhile but it has stopped.

I have the stream on a separate monitor… so it’s not like I’m misclicking. Very annoying, but for a free product, I’ll deal!

I’m liking Mr. Carter’s respectable test, what a droolworthy horse.

eta: Muggle and Rocana coming soon! Very excited - good luck Muggle!

I’m in the US and able to see it on the FEI TV app. Sound isn’t worjing for me though.

I always thought they preferred changes that weren’t exuberant, the commentator (not sure who it is) said they reward ones that are exuberant but not bucking. Found that rather interesting. I thought they would prefer one that looks like its just another stride of change. A change that is smooth, balanced and from behind?

HUGE SHOUT OUT to Courtney for her awesome 50% score. You go gurrrrl !

I can’t hear commentary but, for instance, the 2nd change for Muggle’s rider, I was surprised by the score, as it seemed like a fluid nonevent change – as opposed to the last one, which there was a little buck there

Expressive should have been the right word. You want to show some enthousiasm!

Changes must be smooth, balanced and from behind but not flat. Good jump and expression is rewarded.

Changes were the hind legs step up too much are scored lower.
