Yep, we put in almost 40 miles last weekend - in comfort and style. 
We’ve done more, but were with slower riding friends and their horses so I couldn’t let him move out to cover more ground like he was begging to do. :lol:
OP, I hope you find the alternative you’re looking for, it is NO FUN to come back from a ride to find raw spots on your best friend’s face that scab over within the next couple hours.
I felt so bad for my little guy, I’m soooooo relieved that we found something that works.
