I love the shots of her to one side and others in a cat pile. Also the one of her playing with the toy and everybody else sitting respectfully waiting. She was unquestionably top cat. The ones of her with bottle brush tail meeting the calico were when she had just been brought home, and she was NOT backing down from that much larger cat.
But one of my favorites all her life has been the one of her as a kitten in my lap as I typed and looping one paw across my wrist. “My person.” She rolled her eyes at the world at large and at those lesser cats, but she did like me, and that was an honor, because she did not give friendship easily.
