Trust me, it won’t work. And you really don’t want to anyway, someday he will be able to reach those Christmas decorations you put away on the top shelf, be able to put the star on the top of your tree, rehang those curtains you just … can’t … quite … reach … and don’t want to climb up on ladders anymore … tall guys come in really handy! And you will find shoes to fit, I promise …

All true, except the size 16 shoes are a challenge, as are the 34x38 pants, lol. Oh, and fitting in a normal sized car - or desk.
