Equibrit - Thanks for the memories. On my first trip to England many decades ago, my friend and I drove the coast from Dover to Cornwall and came back up towards London and stayed the night in Windsor. In a moment of serendipity, we, both horsewomen, discovered that the Royal Windsor Horse Show was going on.
My friend and I were able to attend for one day (had to get to Heathrow for a flight the next day.
) . I remember very clearly the gorgeous show ponies that looked like mini-TBs. We also very much enjoyed the team jumping with teams from various police stations. Some of the officers on these teams were very skilled and others were obviously NOT seasoned horsemen/women. I’m sure the skilled ones must have pressured the others in to have enough people to make up a team, but they all seemed to be having fun.
