Quiessence is 8000 mg magnesium. I have used the Uckele magnesium and if I recall it was 2000 or 2500mg per scoop. Not certain how much your horse requires. Either 2-4 scoops depending on what you are using it for.
I usually give 5000 mg and prefer pellets so I use MVP.

I just got an email from Smartpak that the price of Cocohoof is going up $15 per 12lb bag, from $94.95 (with my USEF discount, $99.95 regularly) to $109.95, due to āthe increasing cost of raw ingredients, materials, transportation, and packagingā. That seems like a huge jump to me! I am probably going to look for something else, if anyone has any suggestions!
Yes, the Lubrigen just went up, up, up, too. I removed it from my SmartPak as my horse really doesnāt like it anyway and weāll try plain old MSM. That is awfully expensive for Cocohoof, although I love that product! Current horse wonāt eat it, guess Iām glad! I switched her to Renew Glo (from Chewy). Not exactly the same but she eats it so it makes me feel better, lol. Nowhere near as good as Cocohoof but what can you do when you have a picky pony.
I use the Arthroxigen but that jumped $10 for my next order. The Devilās Claw Plus has stayed the sameā¦so farā¦
I agree I felt like the price increase was really big and even though it doesnāt break down to a huge daily/monthly difference in price, Iām just annoyed on principle because I doubt costs went up THAT much. I love Cocohoof too, so Iām not sure what Iāll do now.
My non-Uckele SPs (MVP and SP brand ) went up too. Thinking itās an across the board price increase.
I love Lubrigen pelletss but theyāre way too pricey for my taste.
You will probably notice significant price increases in a large number of supplements soon. There was a fire last year in a major vitamin manufacturing plant. I work for a feed company, and the prices on our vitamin premixes have increased by 150% in the last three months.
