Just bought a brand new Fairfax dressage saddle for this very reason. I ride my broodmares when not being bred, and I rotate to give my mears a year + off from being mothers. that said, most of my mares are the same sort of build so the Fairfax sold me if i needed the gullet plate changed out.

Hi all! I just wanted to update everyone in case this may be useful for others 
I worked with an independent saddle fitter, and I ended up with a Fairfax Rebecca. I love it! Very comfortable, great quality, love the interchangeable gullet + wool flocking. The 3rd billet is a little weird, but my saddle fitter was able to unsew it.
I haven’t had my own saddle since 2007, and I’m so excited!
