I cannot find any recent discussions on this topic. Bill Wood and Susie Coffey are two names that are constantly recommended in older posts, but it appears that Susie retired and I can’t find any contact information for Paul. I’m leasing an Arab, and he is the model for “notoriously hard to fit.” Any suggestions for a competent fitter who can help in the Maryland area? Thank you!
Charlene Blundell works for Custom Saddlery and is amazing! Not sure if she travels into Maryland but it’d be worth asking her. She’s very honest and doesn’t try to push products either.

Gina Perilla! She goes all over MD. She will work with what you have and/or make suggestions for what an ideal saddle situation would be. She’s been fitting my guy since I got him and he’s always been super happy and comfortable.
Bill Wood has retired. I’ve been using Wendy Harrison of Harrison Saddle Fit and been quite pleased.
Did Susie say she retired? She just reflocked my saddle and said I could schedule an appointment with her.

Bill has retired, Susie has not, as far as I know. I know she was kind of on a break a while back, but I thought she was back to doing saddles again. I would recommend Annette Gavin with Hastilow Saddles or Cate and Theresa with Maryland Saddle Fit. http://www.marylandsaddlefit.com/prices.html Although both of them are reps for specific companies, they will also work with the saddle you have as well. At least I know Cate and Theresa will, and I’m pretty sure that Annette will, too…
Weird, I have been hearing the Susie retired too! I called the number I have for her a few days ago and it was disconnected. If she’s still in business, I highly recommend her based on 20+ years of good experiences!
