Saddle repair recommendations in SE Pennsylvania

Does anyone have a recommendation for saddle repair in the Chester/Montgomery/Bucks counties area of PA?

I have a much loved Crosby close contact saddle that needs new billets and probably reflocking.

Thanks so much for any leads.

(I will cross-post in the Off-course forum too)

I have been happy with the work done by Anne McGrail but boy did she take a looooooooooooong time this last go round with my bridle and there was a lot of confusion/miscommunication. If you can go in person and follow up, I think she’s good.

Thanks, vxf111 - do you have contact info for Anne McGrail?

She’s in Pomeroy near the tree farm.

Ann (The Creative Saddler, Parkesburg, PA) replaced the billets on my saddle in a week. She stayed late twice so that she could be there when I was available to drop the saddle off and pick it up when it was finished. She does lovely work, but has much work to do. She marches to the beat of her own drummer. But so do I.
Another repair choice would be Bartville Harness, 1243 Noble Road, Christiana, PA. 717 529 6992, M, T, W, Thurs 7-5, Friday 7-7, Sat 7-4, closed Sundays. No credit cards, only checks or cash. It is 10 miles SW of Parkesburg. They cut down a noseband for me while I waited, but obviously putting on new billets would take longer and require that you drop the saddle off. They make a lot of the Bit of Britain/Nunn Finer/Tory tack. BONUS: its a blast to shop for all sorts of all sorts of strap goods, racing supplies, stable supplies, and medical supplies.

Thanks so much, Calling Duck, for these great suggestions – really helpful!

you can try Sharon Ross in Buckingham, PA. I do not have her number though. Someone else might.
